Genset to grid

The palm kernel crushing plant ran on genset power because the local grid suffers from frequent power outages. This is not compatible with the palm kernel crushing process, the products tends to solidify within minutes and becomes hard as rock.

Fuel burner to biomass

The rubber factory produces 65 000 T of rubber each year. The rubber driers run on fuel but could be converted to run on steam produced from biomass of replanted rubber trees.

Diesel to CPO

In this remote palm plantation, diesel is expensive and needs to travel a long way by boat. Switching the fuel for the gensets from diesel to palm oil would be a cheaper and carbon neutral solution.

Genset to solar

Installing solar panels for the electric power generation for the rubber factory, this would replace the power currently generated by gensets. The existing hydropower plant will function partly as battery capacity.
